September 12 Big Sioux Canoe/ Kayak Trip 12-6pm

Enjoy the scenery of the river in the Akron area. We have canoes and kayaks available for rent. The cost is $10/ person. Call ahead to reserve a spot.

October 2 Women’s Wilderness Weekend    8am-6pm

Ladies only please. Learn outdoor skills with other women. Kayaking, canoeing, archery, backpacking, trap shooting, and dutch oven cooking are among the many activities we will try. Lunch will be provided. Cost per person is $20. Must be 16 to participate. Space is limited.

October 16 Halloween at Hillview  6-8pm

Campers will hand out candy to trick-or-treaters. Campsites can be reserved beginning Sept. 7th. Trick-or-treaters can park in the pond parking lot. 

December 30 Winter Day Camp 9am-5pm

Spend the day at Hillview cross country skiing, ice fishing, tubing, snowshoeing, and more. This camp is for kids in grades 4th-8th. The cost is $20/ child, lunch is included. Pre-registration is required.   

January 29 Women’s Wilderness Weekend10am–5pm

Learn how to cross country ski, snowshoe, and mush this winter. Lunch will be provided. Cost per person is $20. Must be 16 to participate. Space is limited. 

The tubing hill at Hillview will be open Dec.– Feb.  $5/person

Public hours are 1-5pm Saturdays, Sundays, & New Years Day. Private group reservations can be made starting November 1st.
